Trying out Tamron 10-24

I am going to see what I think about a tamron 10-24 3.5-4 vs a Nikon 17-35 2.8.

So far it seems reasonable, but I need some head to heard comparison to see how sharp it is in vs the narrower lens.

@koalagardens yes, and at similar zooms and f stops. If it is pretty much as clear after pixel peeping I will be quite happy!

@yaorenliu I just did a head to head, and I can confirm that it does (suprisingly). The 17-35 was designed in 1960 though, and has a better constant f2.8 aperture... but is softer. I think that the 14-35 would beat it for sure though... but I really need the 10mm for crop sensor wide angle.
