I tried out stacking ND filters for long daytime exposures. It is more difficult than you might think since I had to focus, put on the filters, then shoot blind since they blocked too much light.
@jernst1779 I love them, the trick was to get the biggest ones I could use (77mm for me) and adapters to use on smaller diameter lenses. I find that 3 and 6 stops are the most used in my pack.... but I do use a 10 stop for daytime shots, and this was a combined 16 stop.
