I ended up with this. Much better I think, though It could really be re-composed to go a little further to the right.

@taffy thanks, I massaged the highlights and shadows to try and add more depth to it. Maybe it is a fad, but I have been doing this more often and liking the results. Hopefully I don't go full twitter filter and make it completely unrealistic though.
