I Took This Shot of the Galahs . . . And Then,

Day 21 - Winton, Western Queensland

I was out in my PJs wandering the streets of Winton before sun up hoping for a sunrise but there was nothing so I turned my attention to the galahs that were everywhere.

I took a couple of shots (sans flash) of this flock on the power lines but the birds were only silhouettes so I set the flash on and took this shot. And then all hell broke loose. See https://365project.org/terryliv/directors-cut-2/2017-08-23 for the follow on shot.
