The magpie family - Dad, Mum and Broken Leg. It was wet today and the birds all thought they should be able to come inside to keep dry. They nearly drove us mad. At one point we were out the back and mother magpie walked past us, into the family room, through the kitchen, into our computer room, then the lounge and out the door to the front balcony and sat on the railing. No worries.
What a wonderful capture. They certainly are tame and obviously consider themselves part of the family with every right to come inside out of the weather.
Okay, enough with the Macro March stuff. I'm getting behind on checking out the birds of Brisbane over here! I nearly missed the kangaroos the other day. Yikes. How absolutely precious that this family comes (to your) home to get out of the rain. Nice to see Bo is looking good despite his past injury. Beautiful birds, all three.
Such a wonderful shot. I love that what you have mentioned about one walking through your house. I would love to have wildlife walking through our house a bit. I have a goose at the park that I would love to take home. She would make a wonderful but messy pet. FAV
