Supermoon + 1 by terryliv

Supermoon + 1

Just when you thought you had seen the last of the supermoon shots, another one appears.
The moon rises over Brisbane. Not the shot I was looking for but beggars can't be choosers.
Silly me Sam @gigiflower thinking it was going to be cloudy. Oh ye of little faith. I was able to take the comparison shot with similar settings to yours and it confirms that it is definitely the quality of the lens that is the difference. Vey interesting - but not cheap :-(. No point in posting the shot I took.

Great shot. Love the detail of the clouds. I'm hoping that it stays clear here tonight so I can take a few pictures. Stormed last night.

Love the Brissy nights cape, the cloud and moon as well. Super shot.

Love the outline of the clouds, nice city lights :-)

I loke it. The twinkly lights offset it nicely.

That moon still looks pretty super. It's gigantic. I couldn't see the super moon here thanks to clouds but I did photograph it last night and again just awhile ago. None of those are going to get an 365 time tho.

Nice capture Terry, we had intermittent cloud here, I haven't worked out how to get a good shot yet!

@dianeburns I think to get good photo of Moon & City you need to take 2 photos (using your tripod) and different exposure and edit them as HDR, never try it yet but thats the theory...
