Rain again today and father magpie came in out of the rain for a feed. They are nesting at the moment and poor old father has his work cut out for him.
I had planned a night pic for todays posting but it turned out pretty crappy so it was just as well that I took this earlier in the day.

Maggie has his feathers ruffled too and has obviously been tucking into some good grub by the look of his dirty beak. Those birds are spoiled at your house.

We have a pair of maggies who visit us regularly. They have been away for a few weeks because I think they were trying to lose their last lot of children. They have turned up again now and are obviously feeding a new batch of youngsters. They seem to be on the razzle all year round. ha ha.
