Brisbane's wholesale fruit and vegetable markets are at Rocklea but every Saturday morning, they become a retail market where you can get your fresh produce at great prices.
We used to be regular patrons of the markets but this morning was the first time I had visited with camera in hand and the the sole intention of taking photographs. It put a whole new light on the place. I think I will be going back again for more pics.
This is one of many of the produce areas.
There is probably no better place anywhere for fresh fruit than SE Queensland.
Great capture of the markets. We are lucky enough to have Sam's Fruit Shop at the Summit between Warwick and Stanthorpe, mostly local produce or Australian produce only .:)
Looks like lots of people know of this wonderful market. What a tremendous variety of fruits and vegetables. This makes me so envious! Wonderful shot of the whole area.
