Very short on time today and a bit strapped for ideas which means it's time for another bromeliad shot.
This is looking down on the flower bract of Aechmea Del Mar. They are not the most user friendly brom with vicious spines on the outside of the leaves. But the flower bract makes the frequent jagging and resulting loss of blood worthwhile.
This one really is best on black.
