We're having Christmas at our place this year and with six young starry eyed grandchildren being there, Nanna decided it was time for an upgrade to our poor tired 20+ year old decorations. The store where we went, The Christmas Shack is bloody huge and definitely not the place for children to be let loose in.
I promised the people in the shop I would give them a free plug so here it is:
For people in Brisbane, it is on Sandgate Rd, Virginia and Pacific Highway, Slacks Creek. For non Brisbane, (poor souls) go to https://christmasshack.com.au/ for your on-line shopping.
As always, best on black
This is the third Christmas shot I have seen today. Now I know you're ahead in Oz but even here in the UK we haven't hit Christmas yet..... ^ grandkids sounds like fun!
Wow magical lighting and focus with lots of interesting content Terry, we have visited the store online and I'm interested in the Santa on a motorbike garden decoration, lol Jenny has collected Christmas tree decorations as we have traveled around the world, if I suggested replacing them I would be shot at dawn. lol;)
Bah humbug!! It's way too early for this!! Looks absolutely stunning....but it is only the 3rd October. You are obviously one of those people who plan way ahead. No doubt you have bought the presents already too :)
Hahaha! Just a few years ago, we finally decided that our kids were old enough that we could get out our good decorations again! I have all these crystal ornaments that we bought in Germany before we had kids. First our cat knocked over our tree, then the next year our daughter knocked it over, so we put them away for safe keeping. We didn't put them on the tree for nearly 15 years! LOL!
How would one possibly make a choice in a store like that. I'd be in heaven - like a little kid. The colors sure make a wonderful picture. That all being said, glad it's still a way off. I'm just thinking about buying Halloween candy (we get MANY trick or treaters!)
Yes I agree it is way too early for this! By the time Christmas comes we will all be sick of everything Christmas. Nice capture though Terry. But to my liking I can't even see the trees for all the decoration on top of them. .
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Something tells me it looks like that all the time at this store. Neat that your family will all be together for the holidays.
