Eastern Yellow Robin by terryliv

Eastern Yellow Robin

Still up at Queen Mary Falls where we watched this small bird flitting around just above ground level. According to Prof Google it's an Eastern Yellow Robin but please feel to correct me if I'm wrong.
I was going to crop this shot to feature the Robin but I liked all the branches so in the end I decided to leave it SOOC.
Sam
He is tiny - I bet he is a fast one to try and catch! FAV

Yes you and Mr Google are correct! We have lots of these in the Otways but not actually here! Love him in all the branches :)

That's a lovely capture, and so nice to see some of the rarer birds. Did he sing for you?

Grea shot. These little things are lightning fast.

I'm glad you kept the surroundings--he's camouflaged quite well. So, I'm also glad you spotted him, as he is a very beautiful bird. We see only red-breasted robins.
