Duck

I don't know much about ducks except that they swim, go "quack" and like to be fed by Maggie. So I don't know what sort of duck this was at the Mt Cootha gardens. A wood duck perhaps?

I couldn't help but read the discussion on this duck shot (which is an excellent one, btw) Laughed at loud when I read Denise's @gilbertwood suggestion of a name, thinking she was joking. But I couldn't resist looking it up so now I know she wasn't. Denise knows her ducks! FAVorable photo, Poppo. Excellent focus.
