Wedge Tail Eagle by terryliv

Wedge Tail Eagle

Unfortunately, this is not my shot of a Wedge Tail Eagle but Rhoda's. There is a bit of a story behind the shot which I won't bore you or embarrass myself with but suffice it to say, I didn't get a similar quality shot.

I always believed the Wedge Tail Eagle to be the second largest in the world after the American Bald Eagle. But after asking Prof Google, I got many different answers depending on how you measure "large". For now, I am sticking with my original belief.

Taken at Innamincka.

Best on black
