Down on the beach there were a number of structures made from drift wood that made an interesting foreground to the sunrise. Love the way the support piece on this one is pointing directly at the sun.
Talking to one of the locals and he said that some guy wanders along from time to time and if he gets the urge, he builds them.

(I don't know what everyone is seeing with these pics but we have 4 screens in our house (it's a genealogy thing) and the difference in colour saturation across the 4 ranges from quite insipid to OTT).
