This Blue Tongue Lizard has been hanging around our front yard lately.
Initially he was very timid and would take off as soon as I went down with the camera. He has now turned into a bit of a media tart and comes right up to the camera.
Fantastic close up and excellent timing. We had a blue tongue lizard visit us every year for 12 years and she lived under our wood shed in winter. She used to drop her babies here every year too. she became so tame I think she would have moved in altogether. Sadly she didn't turn up this year, so I guess she has gone to that great paddock in the sky.
