Navy Pier, Chicago by terryliv

Navy Pier, Chicago

Part of Navy Pier which juts out into lake Michigan. I think we must be in the U.S. of A.

We took one of the Wendella boat tours which went out onto Lake Michigan and then travelled up the Chicago River.

We don't do cities very well and I am not very imaginative when it comes to photographing them.

Our daughter and her family from London are now with us so comments will probably be sporadic at best until the new year.
Ahhh yes you were in America. My first (and last) clue was the American flags flying on the pier. What a fabulous photo this is!

Great view, I wouldn't have picked this for USA if you hadn't said so (apart from the stars and stripes) it looks more like Venice.

Fantastic composition! I love seeing the Pier with the city beyond. This is quite a vantage point for photography.
