Our Garden 11 - Guzmania Beau

The beautiful flower of Guzmania Beau which can be seen in the left hand garden of yesterday's posting. Beau is the poor man's substitute for what I call King Guzzy, Guzmania Conifera.

Beautiful! Your country does supply so much color and beauty! Thank you for identifying that beautiful pink flowery for me the other day. I should have realized as much of the plant (majority I think) species at the college's arboretum were from Australia and NZ. The climate in that part of Santa Cruz must offer enough similarity for them to thrive. I love this!
