The earth says hello . . . . . .
Well at least the magpies do.
Went up to Green Hill first thing this morning thinking there may be a sunrise but once again, it was a fizzer. This little ritual is a very regular occurrence.
But these two magpies made up for it by carolling their morning call from a branch just in front of my watching post - and they weren't even our magpies who are busy raising their chicks. They sure have a beautiful song, especially first thing in the morning.
As always, best on black
And I just noticed, there is exactly 12 hours between this shot and the moon shot in my 365 album. Spoooooky!!!!
Your comment on my sunflower made me laugh. I have to tell you, there are times when I would love to tap someone on the shoulder and say, you know, you really shouldn't wear those tight pants. LOL!
@tahoemb You may notice Mary Beth that that comment is no longer there. After about an hour I so I had second thoughts about it and decided to delete it. Thought I might offend someone. You must have seen it in the short time before it went. ha ha ha
What a picture - these two singing merrily at the start of the day. The bokeh of the city's lights behind them almost looks like the music coming from the magpies' beaks. lol on the ... "at least the magpies do".
@terryliv I actually thought about it too, Terry. But, I got a kick out of it and want you to know you certainly did not offend me. I did wonder where the comment went. Hahaha.
