Day 14 - Old Halls Creek Post Office by terryliv

Day 14 - Old Halls Creek Post Office

They have attempted to preserve what's left of the post office at Old Halls Creek by building a shelter over it. This must have been the building where poor old James Darcy went under the knife and/or the razor.
In case you can't read the plaque, the walls and floor are constructed from a mud mix of spinifex and ant bed.

Don't bother to comment, just telling a story

There is a map at http://365project.org/terryliv/from-the-archiv/2015-01-07 showing our tour up to the start of Day 15.
