Day 16 - Mount Doreen Ruins

We stopped for lunch at the ruins of the old mount Doreen station are just off the Tanami Track.
Mount Doreen Station was abandoned due to poor water supply and the death of the man who was running the station. Rusty relics are scattered over a large area of the station.

Don't bother to comment - just telling a story.

Old ruins like these always make me wonder about the hopes and dreams of the settler who established the site originally and the work they did trying to achieve that dream. Great collage.
