Hanging On

Day 11 - Bryce Canyon, Utah

This tree was hanging on for grim death to the very edge of the cliff at Bryce Canyon.

A welcome break from hoodoos and canyons.

We have been back home now for a couple of days and have mostly recovered from the hectic activity of the past 8 weeks and the flight home so I should finally be able to catch up.
My apologies for my lack of comments and thank you for the views and comments on my postings over this time.

A line tree-always a winner in my book! Welcome home.

@judithdeacon Line tree? I had to look it up. I think I know what you mean. And Rhoda and I were only talking about you this afternoon. :-)

@hermann What, me or the tree?

What a tenacious tree -- survival has to be tough there for any living creature. I like how the root system looks like legs or tentacles reaching out and holding on.
