Tawny Frogmouth

Thought I would post one more shot of the Tawny Frogmouth that visited our garden a few days ago, this one showing his full body size.

For O/S 365ers, they are a very stocky bird and can be about 45cms long

Another great shot. Your so lucky he was so visible. The only few time's I've seen these they blend in so well with the bark, that it's nearly impossible to see them.
