1800 beads

photo 228
I posted a photo of my bead collection on the 2nd July. Well this is the almost finished product of many hours of enjoyable work.It is 8cms high and nearly 2cms across. It is a needle holder for my sewing needles. It just needs the lid to be completed.

Freakin' AWESOME work sister!! Is this your own pattern? Did you learn to do this from someone? This seems as if it's a very old traditional type of craft. Do you sell them? It's really wonderful! You should be proud!

@eyesofbetsie No not my own pattern but think I can work one out for myself now. Might try it with cupcakes on it for a friend. It is very easy to do but takes many hours of work. I do it while watching TV. Sell them mmmm don't think anyone would pay me for the labor.

@tesssa I get that!! I have a quilt that took me 580 hours to make. How would you price that? It's a labor of love, your work. I greatly appreciate your craft and I also understand that working while watching tv means your productive. I am the sort of person who has to have something to show for my time. You know what I mean?? LOVE THIS PIECE!!
