I was really looking forward to taking a photo through the window when I got home tonight. I had all my thoughts planned out, the lighting was perfect...then I didn't get home until after dark. :( So it goes. I'll have to try that one another day. So, I dusted off on older photo that I love - looking through the glass panes of an antique lighthouse in Akaroa. This was a sublimely gorgeous place. Words can't even say what a perfect day trip it was. The lighthouse was just another jewel in an already perfect day. But for some reason, the photo sums up my experience of New Zealand for me. Quirky, wonderful, warm, and full of light. What an amazing place, full of amazing people!
