Katara cultural village is a man made souq/theatre complex with a beach and many boutique shops and restaurants that is to be the hub of culture in qatar. they have attracted many performers and singers there already. at night is a favourite place for qataris. I went there last night for dinner and shisha and i was a pleasure to see all the locals out enjoying themselves. this is the entrance to the great amphitheatre they have built. can seat 3,000 people...
