Final photo - my first year on 365 completed, my second year of photo-a-day completed! It's been a blast and I thank and applaud all my followers and visitors. I have cherished your comments, loved your fav's and appreciated the encouragement throughout the year. It's made me take it all to heart and continue. I cannot, for one minute, imagine my life without taking a photo a day. It makes me look at every single detail, no matter how small or insignificant, and to find something worthwhile to shoot, even if I'm having a crap day. Therefore my life is richer for it.
I have found it to be a pleasure to follow, to find new talent, to learn, to experiment, to push my own boundaries, to lift my own standards, to play, to have fun - to take time out and comment and fav on other's pics - it has been extremely rewarding - and if I have the time and the wi-fi connection, I will continue to do so.
To top all that - I have made many 365 friends ... you know who you are and hopefully through my journeys and destinations, one day we'll meet. I'd truly love that.
Who knows where the wind will blow me in 2012 - I'm hoping to maybe stick in Africa - stay in and around Cape Town for 2-3 months then head a little north to Namibia and then....we'll see. My photos will always reflect my 'home', my environment and the volunteer positions I seek, wherever that may be. Love to you all. And THANK YOU!!!! :)
Photo taken at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens - summer outdoor concerts - where approx 6000 people gather with their picnic baskets, blankets, wine, beer and nibbly-noos to enjoy afternoon sundowners in the shadow of Table Mountain listening to some really good bands. Good way to end my project and the weekend.
Salut!!!
