The main road that runs through Kalk Bay along the coast is being upgraded and is quite a mess. Loads of trucks, graders and workmen play - orchestrating a cacophony of noise. Businesses strive to operate under extreme conditions while patrons are extremely patient. Kalk Bay is worth it.
This sculpture sticks out of the entrance of a pub/restaurant called Cape to Cuba. I loved the absurdness of it - with backdrop of palm trees and road works. How more bizarre could I have found?
@amandalomonaco@allie912 Hi ladies.....to be honest, I haven't got a clue. Kalk Bay is such an eclectic, arty-farty, mix 'n match, characterful place that nothing strange really looks that strange, if you know what I mean? It's a fabulous place to take photos.
