Goodness that onion looks pretty big in terms of size..... Very interesting shot. Lots of contrasts in terms of colours and textures - smooth outside skin and dying withered leaves. I really like the dof and the composition. It might look interesting in b&w maybe? And for a bonus you captured a little bug creeping down the left hand side.
