Surprise bloom...

This was very much a surprise...a cactus bloom! We have had this cactus for years and this year it did not look all that a great. Then these flowers just burst forth!!

Great close-up. The pink petals are beautiful and the cactus, even though not crystal clear (and that's not a problem, btw) still has lots of detail.
