The other side of the track... by thewatersphotos

The other side of the track...

Things always seem "different" on the other side of the tracks. That is true here, as well. The buildings were originally warehouses. Now, some have been changed into restaurants, brewery and coffee roaster, as well as businesses.
Super lines in this and I love the curve away on the points change. I like to see places being revived and regenerated when their use has been discontinued.

Nice lines and to know that regeneration is taking place.

This is a very pretty other side of the track....coming into cities the other side of the track is not always the best side of the place to see! Lovely long view & the curve of the track is great. Red lights show nicely!

Nice leading lines, even the ones that go around the curve.

I really like this shot's inclusion of a track that goes off to the left (port side)!

Another nice pic. Wonder where the phrase ‘other side of the tracks’ comes from?

Nice to hear about the revitalization of the area. So nice to be drawn into the image!

Lovely shot of these tracks and good to hear that the old warehouses have been given a new life.

Pam
I often wonder where people have been and where they are going. This lets me dream I may someday be able to leave my cottage once again...and I won't care where I'm going. Thanks for allowing me a moment to dream.

@rhoing That originally went to the "station" (which was refurbished, but then sold to a "daycare"...go figure!)
