Frankie and Ashley

I'm so upset. This could've been a great photo but there's no light in her eyes and she's not totally in focus. I cannot see through my viewfinder. I might have bad eyes or something... but I can't tell when something is focused until I load it on the computer. Oh well. Love the colors in this. Might try to retake it another time but Ashley was ready to go to bed. Me too. Good night.

Just curious...in situations like this (and I have had many) have you ever tried a digital fill flash post processing? It is real easy, and can add midtones and highlights where you wanted them.

She's a cocker spaniel. 8 months old and almost solid brown.
