Starstruck

Having a cup of tea by the tree one afternoon, it occurred to me that I've only ever taken shots of it at night, missing out on all those opportunities to shoot starbursts. The tea was quickly forgotten. Do all photographers have such short attention spans?
I have a very short attention span when it comes to thoughts - like this http://thumbpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/funny-thought-over-explaining-inarticulate1.jpg

Haha, I laughed about your comment on short attention spans. I sometimes jump up when I get a sudden photo idea and grab my camera - often it involves going outside. Like Pavlov's dogs, Cooper automatically jumps up once my hand touches my camera ... even if I move in slow motion :) Lovely picture and great capture of that starburst!

Lovely capture of these beautiful ornaments. Great lighting. Fun comment about the memory attention spans... my girl friends and I call it senior moments :)

@annied haha - so true! I read somewhere about the differences in mens brains vs women's brains - they keep their thoughts in boxes, one for each subject. They all have lids, and the boxes must never touch. They even have one that's completely empty! Our brains are like a ball of tangled wire - it explains a lot! ;-)
