Ruins

On our recent trip to Ottawa, we visited the MacKenzie King estate. He was Canada's most colourful Prime Minister and was known for his "quirks". One of which was his collection of ruins from around the world. When he couldn't buy the ruin, he'd have it reproduced on his estate - great for photographers! Hope you like rocks and rubble - there will be a lot in the upcoming days. :-)
How really odd! Sounds like a place the would be really interesting to see. Pretty eclectic, I'm guessing. I like the lines you got here.

Lovely shot. Hubby and I were just talking about that place. Now I'm very keen to go. I just might have to sneaky blame you for my need for another road trip though. :)

Fabulous shot and what a great hobby - I'd do that too if I could - for the photo ops of course.

Wonderful comp and texture here. I'm not sure I'd call Mackenzie king the most colourful--I think Pierre Trudeau might be a contender for that. But definitely one of the weirdest, consulting with his mother long after she was dead. However, he did bring in policies like unemployment insurance and old age pensions, and for those I honour him.
