When I arrived home on Friday, I found a florist box on my porch, containing my favorite flowers. They were from my son! Have a wonderful Mothers Day, everyone!

Actually, I tried shooting one yesterday, and the wind kept messing up my shot! :) Seriously, there is something about your ability to compose a shot and shoot a flower in a way that is not boring. Most flower shots are boring to me. I think maybe your gift is like that of a floral arranger - comes naturally, and it is hard to teach.
@ellen the wind is the bane of my existence too. keep at it - I know you can do it! a macro lens helps - I've always loved flowers, but got totally hooked when I got my hands on a macro lens!
