This is jetBlue Airways flight 382, arriving at Richmond International Airport (RIC) from Boston Logan International Airport (BOS).
The plane is an Embraer ERJ-190. It seats about 100.
It was a dozy Thanksgiving morning with scattered rain showers starting to give way to blue skies. With nothing better to do, the Missus and I bundled the dogs into my truck* and headed to RIC because a couple of flights were inbound and landing soon. We didn't have to wait for more than about 10 minutes for a jetBlue Airbus A320 to take off and a Delta Embraer ERJ-170 to land. Just a few minutes later, flight 382 approached with a (photographically) much better sky behind it.
*The dogs do not have to be coaxed or cajoled into any vehicle. I go out, open a vehicle door, come back into the house and say, "Rideez!" and a split-second later they are both inside the cab, all wags and happy yaps.
