This juvenile tern picked up what I thought was either a cheese doodle or a baby carrot. The longer I watched it the more I realized that it was most likely a carrot because it took there, looking around, not really certain as to what to do with it. A cheese curl would have been devoured quickly. As it was, it eventually dropped it and flew off.
