Moon Dune by timerskine

Moon Dune

[This one is best on black] The Missus and I went to Sandbridge Beach to watch the moonrise. It's almost full (that'll be tomorrow) and the sky was without clouds all day.

The moon was hard to see when it first came over the horizon as the sun had yet to completely set and the smog blown out to sea concealed it until it was nearly halfway over the horizon.

Sadly, none of my pictures of the moonrise itself came out because I botched the focus. All was not lost, however. First, tomorrow, when the Hunter's Moon is full, the weather is supposed to be just like today. Second, the Missus looked over her shoulder as we crossed through the barrier dune as we headed back to the truck and saw this. I have always valued her eye as both my best constructive critic and a fantastic spotter.
Gorgeous on black!
