An osprey was looking for lunch in the Appomattox River this afternoon. But the Appomattox is a tidal river, the tide was out and the water in the area it was circling was very shallow at the time. It only circled a couple of times before it moved on to find a meal elsewhere.
@jon_lip No, this is a significant crop of a landscape shot that I decided to do vertical. There was a lot of blue to get rid of. When I say it’s way up, I mean way way up...this is less than 2/3 of the original after cropping.
