Chickadee by timerskine

Chickadee

I have a large number of bird feeders in my yard. I have a feeder with a generic seed mix, one with sunflower kernels (pictured here), a large suet feeder, and a platform with dried meal worms. We are getting a wide variety of birds now that the weather is getting cold and they have found us. My feeding station has been known as "Tim's Diner" for a couple of decades now.

This is a Carolina chickadee. When Tim's Diner was operating in Ohio, we had both Carolina and black-capped chickadees and it was tough to tell them apart. Now that we are a 25 minute drive from the North Carolina border we don't have any ID issues anymore.
