Solar Birds

The Missus and I went to the Dutch Gap Conservation Area today to go for a walk on an unseasonably mild December day.

These Double-crested Cormorants (Phalacrocorax auritus) were sunning themselves on one of two structures that seem to have been built for this very purpose.
They look like they have a conversation together.
