Squadron

I was out for a walk along the beach when this squadron of brown pelicans flew overhead.

A group of pelicans is known by many names. A pod, brief, pouch, or scoop of pelicans, as well as my choice, squadron. If they are feeding they are a fleet of pelicans. So there's your ornithology lesson for today, no charge.
