Red Arrows over Blackpool

What with one thing and another I have not been able to get out and about very much lately. However I did manage to get out to the promenade in Blackpool to watch the airshow yesterday. Such a magnificent display of aerobatics could really do with a much longer lens to do it justice. I cropped this image down from a much larger shot, (they were specs in the distance), unfortunately that makes it a little grainy and soft. But I think these guys are fantastic. Goodness knows how much practise they must have to put in to get this good.
What a superb capture.

Tim
@pflaume Lisa you angel. Thanks so much for stopping by.
I think my picture a day target has been lead somewhat astray.
I am doing fine but have had a problem with my camera. I have had to send it back to Nikon for repair, annoyingly it was just 3 weeks out of warranty. I should hopefully get it back this week. Then I can get back on track. I have been keeping an eye on everyone's uploads and there have been some great ones too. I didn't like to leave comments whilst I wasn't contributing images myself. Thank you for your message it's lovely to know I'm missed.

Good to know you are well! I hope your camera will be back in working order very soon and you will be back in 365 business! Thanks for your response, Tim. Take care!

@jo13 Hi jo, what a lovely surprise.
No you haven't lost me I have been a little unwell this year and have had a bit of a bad reaction to the medication I was given. It caused me to shake a bit and has prevented me from getting out with the camera. I am getting back to normal and hope to be snapping again before too long. I still vsit 365 but am a little embarased to comment & join in when I am not contributing myself. We have the new year just around the corner & I am hoping to be hitting it with the shutter blazing. Have a great xmas and thank you for dropping by. You have really cheered me up.
