This has transported me back in time to when we used to paddle in the little stream in the park. They gave me the creeps then and they still do now, yuk!
A great capture though of these pesky varmints against the colourful foliage.

@bubblequeen@miss_molly@clivee@francesc Thank you. I hadn't noticed them before so although we moan about having to clear up next door's leaves, they actually did us a favour this time.
@pattyblue You are so right! I remember our Mom terrifying us with stories of leeches attacking us so that we wouldn't paddle in the park, and I vaguely remember an old film set in a jungle where a man had to burn one off a woman's leg with a cigarette. Both of these things have really given me a phobia about leeches. Yukky.
