S Is For Slits In A Spatula!

Day 231 - 18/09/20

Today has been another busy day. I'm glad this week is over to be honest with you! That's not to say not enjoyed my courses and meetings, just that I'm ready for a rest I think! Thankfully I've got nothing happening until the afternoon tomorrow so I'll definitely be having a lie in!

Anyway, today I had one more course. I didn't enjoy it as much as the others and I didn't agree with some of what the teacher was saying, so I won't be doing that one again. Afterwards I went to see my mum and dad and sister which was really lovely. My dad took my car to be washed for me too as it was filthy and I was too scared to go through the automatic car wash by myself as I've not done it before!

It was very hard to think of a subject for today's photo. I quite like how this photo came out, but I was very uninspired by it. I am enjoying this theme though, just it seems there are some tough days and some really easy days when it comes to finding a subject!

@kaylynn2150 they are my net curtains. In the UK it is very common (say 85-90% of houses) have net curtains covering their windows all the time. You don't open and close them. Then we have actual curtains or blinds that you draw at the beginning/end of the day. The net curtains let in light and you can see out, but, unless you've got your face to the window, you can't see in a house with nets. It's just added privacy. I love my net curtains, I think they're so pretty! They were the first things I bought for my house!

Look up the work of Jackie Rankin, a new Zealand photographer who used kitchen implements in her kitchen stories series!!

Here you go! The mixer survived surprisingly well for a few landings. It was already broken electric wise I hasten to add
