Cottages in Lismore, Republic of Ireland

On our return trip from Waterford we stopped briefly in the quaint town of Lismore. Despite the dreary day and the threat of rain this Irish village was very colourful and the late summer flowers added to the appeal of this street.

Many thanks for your visits, favs & comments, I read and appreciate them all.

Given the limitations of the on-board WiFi and satellite links I am not able to view and comment on your captures, I am missing them.

How colorful the town must be - these are delightful. Glad you got to roam the streets for a bit in spite of dismal weather. Thought only England had so much of this stuff - must be a false American rumor.

These little connected places are quaint. I'm amazed that although small they are all different and all have different roofs, colors, chimneys and landscaping.

I love the very colourful houses in Ireland. I think they would look stupid in Oz but for some reason, in Ireland, they look wonderful. Nice shot Tony
