Sun Princess Pop Choir

One of the highlights of the final days of the cruise is to listen to the Pop Choir which has been rehearsing for weeks. This is one of the largest we've seen with upward of 70 passengers being involved. One of the Cruise Director's staff collects and trains these volunteers many of whom didn't even know the words when they started. The Vista Lounge was suitably packed with an enthusiastic audience.

Many thanks for your visits, favs & comments, I read and appreciate them all. Given the limitations of the on-board WiFi and satellite links I am not able to view and comment on your captures, I am missing them.

I will attempt to maintain a daily journal where you can track our journey at http://2016IndianOceanSun.travellerspoint.com
Sounds like a very entertaining night. Nice set of shots showing the event.

It sounds like you have certainly made the most of your trip - but probably ready to head back home. Glad the weather settled. Enjoyed reading about the crew's show and this choir performance sounded like a great idea.

That's the biggest choir I've seen on a cruise. I must consider joining one on my next cruise. Love the collage.

How wonderful! This is a great idea, and great way to meet new people.

What a marvelous idea, and I bet they were good too. Singing has become very popular in the UK with lots of new choirs popping up all over the country.
