Went into Bakewell in Derbyshire this morning to the market, this is were they bake and sell the lovely Bakewell Pudding.

Beautiful - so much texture and detail. My husband's ancestors are from Derby/shire and one of them married a Sarah Bakewell.

What a beautiful capture - out of interest what is the difference between a Bakewell pudding and tart?

@virtualbrownie A Bakewell Pudding is made with puff pastry and the Bakewell Tart, shortcrust.
