Fungi on the old apple tree, the tree itself is over 100years old and still produces a good Crop of apples every year, I have just given it a Winter wash to stop bugs laying there eggs in the new Buds.
A super image , so much textures and lovely colours . Yes I remember my late husband spraying the old apple trees with a winter wash to prevent the grubs, unfortunately Both the old trees eventually died on me ! fav
@jesperani@beryl Yes, the fruit trees require a winter wash every year to keep all the grubs getting in the apples, I get my winter was from the Garden Centre, but I have just looked online and its a lot cheaper at amazon.
