Feeding Frensy

Frustration with the camera I had and the lens. The camera had a shutter lag so missed most of the action. They would buzz in and out so fast. Pam counted 14 at one time at the feeder, maybe there were more. Slow lens, shutter lag = frustration. Did shoot a poor video ( second attempt) but do not know how to upload to 365 =
frustration ! But oh so lucky to have experienced
this happening. Wow something else !
Magnificent!

Pretty amazing to have all those humming birds together like that, even if you couldn't get the shot you wanted. I really like all the activity here.

Amazing, what a lovely sight to see. Well done for capturing it.

Wonderful sight... such a crowd! Have you tried a "burst" or "sports" setting for multiple exposures quickly? That might help.

Well Tom, you seem to have overcome your technical difficulties with supreme ease - what a superb capture. I'm a little surprised that you had shutter lag problems though... I thought the A6000 was supposed to be the fastest focussing camera on the market?

@vignouse It focused fast, had great burst mode. but when I pushed
the shutter button there was a lag before the shutter clicked and they
were gone. My Canon 7d seems more instant, but alas did not have my 7D

Unbelievable.

This must be why there are none at my house. They passed us by. Great shot!

An incredible amount of hummers! My one hummer guards his feeder with his beak and rarely lets others get near it. Your birds are very well mannered!
