Wild Turkeys

It was a cold windy overcast day and the woods were full of life. A flock of ducks took off from a slew, two eagles took flight, leaves rustled underfoot, turkeys browsed amongst the fallen leaves and the glorious smell of autumn was in the air. I walked, I breathed, I sat and marveled
at all the beauty.
I love wild turkeys! Great shot Tom!

Gosh so much wildlife, how lucky you are. Amazing to just come across turkeys. I never think about them being in the wild. Great shot.

Reminds me how Franklin was advocating to make the turkey the national bird (or so the myth goes!: http://www.smithsonianmag.com/arts-culture/american-myths-benjamin-franklins-turkey-and-the-presidential-seal-6623414/?no-ist)
