I may not have any beautiful castles in my neck of the woods....but I do have this. This is Indian Falls, located on the Niagara Escarpment about an hour north of where I live. The ice is actually that gorgeous aqua blue. As you can see, it is so cold here, the water that normally flows over the falls has frozen solid this winter. I was able to walk around and if I had of had the right shoes, could have actually walked through that "door" and walked behind the ice falls. I also wish I had someone with me that I would have put in the picture to give you an idea of how big this actually is. It is probably 3 to 4 storys tall.
What a spectacular scene. So well captured. Faved - and not just because you're trekking around in the snow and cold weather to get your shots. (ha ha This photo's a beauty.
Wow! How stunning. Loved reading your narrative - wouldn't have guessed that these waterfalls are so 'tall' had you not mentioned it. A beautiful scene.
